MANGUSTEEN & MENA InsureLab Announce Launch of MENA Insurtech Festival

In a landmark announcement made during the official launch of MENA InsureLab Accelerator at DIFC Academy in Dubai last Friday, MANGUSTEEN, the organizing force behind the MENA Fintech Festival, confirmed a new strategic partnership that will see the birth of the MENA Insurtech Festival — a dedicated platform spotlighting innovation in insurance technology.

The new festival will take place under the umbrella of the MENA Fintech Festival 2025, which has also announced its new home: the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). The event will return for its 4th edition on 2–3 December 2025, bringing together a powerful community of fintech and insurtech stakeholders from across the region and beyond.

The partnership was officially unveiled with a signing ceremony following a keynote address by Malik Shishtawi, Founder & CEO of MANGUSTEEN and President of the MENA Fintech Festival. Speaking at the DIFC launch event, Malik stated:

“This partnership is more than just a new chapter for insurtech — it’s a natural evolution of our mission to accelerate digital transformation across financial services. With DECC as our new venue and a growing ecosystem of collaborators like MENA InsureLab, this year’s MENA Fintech Festival promises to be our biggest and most impactful yet.”

Aicha Ghaffari, Managing Director of MENA InsureLab Accelerator, added: “The partnership between MENA InsureLab and the MENA Fintech Festival marks a new era of collaboration and innovation in the region’s financial sector. Together, we are creating a powerful platform to accelerate the adoption of transformative technologies and bridge the gap between traditional institutions and disruptive startups.”

The MENA Insurtech Festival will feature high-impact sessions on topics such as AI in underwriting, embedded insurance, regulatory innovation, and investment trends. Attendees can expect keynote speeches, panel discussions, startup showcases, and curated networking opportunities.
